Havering Council is looking to recruit 30 young adults to apply for the apprenticeship roles which are now available.
There are a range of opportunities within the council including Communications, Children’s Services, Legal, Adults Services, Registrations, Culture and Leisure, Policy and Performance and Executives Office.
There are a range of qualifications available including, Digital and Social Media, Association of Accounting Technicians, Business Admin and Engineering.
The new apprentices will start work in September for a two-year fixed term contract, and could be paid up to £124 per week.
Training for NVQ Level Two and Level Three qualifications will be included in the programme.
Director for Human Resources and Organisational Development, Caroline Nugent, , said: “Havering Council is committed to helping the Borough’s young people get the skills they need to have successful careers and our apprenticeship scheme is part of that commitment.
The council have run this scheme for three years.
