Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospital Trust held their annual Staff Pride Awards, on Wednesday 15th October, The awards are a celebration of the work the staff do around both BHR sites – King George & Queen’s Hospitals. The BHR Staff Pride awards ceremony took place at the City Pavilion, Collier Row for an evening of Entertainment with compare & comedian Patrick Monahan, The Romford Town Cryer, plus P.A & music provided by Bedrock Hospital Radio.

Surprise for Bedrock

The evening started with Volunteers to the trust who received long service awards, for various decades of voluntary services for the past 10, 20, 30 & 40 years service – With a surprise certificate to Bedrock Hospital Radio for providing Patient Entertainment for the last 50 Years, a great tribute to our heritage and founding stations being recognised by NHS trust we work with.

Staff were all nominated by other colleagues and patients, for their outstanding work.
