Thank you to Havering East Rotary Club for their kind invitation to there meeting last night.

Annette was invited to represent bedrock and speak before the group about the purpose of the charity and to talk about the work the volunteers participate in.

Annette was fortunate to join the members for dinner and to learn more about the Rotary Club.

At the end of the talk the Chairman presented a cheque for two hundred and fifty pounds for bedrock.

Bev Stroud, Fundraising officer for bedrock said: “Thank you for your kind generosity. that will help towards our music licence.”

George a fellow of the Rotary Club expressed an interest in bedrock and at the end of the meeting he donated his raffle winnings of ten pounds too.

Annette said: ” it was a fantastic evening, everyone made me feel very welcome and it was a great opportunity to share information about our radio station, and the donations were incredible, thank you.”

The Havering East Rotary Club are always looking for new members.
