Brainboxes wanted for Bedrock Quiz Night!

Get your friends together and test their wits in an evening of friendly competition, in our charity quiz night in support of the Bedrock Hospital RadioQuiz Poster 2015
The event takes place on Friday 25th September 2015 at the Hornchurch Royal British Legion Hall in Hornchurch Town Centre.
Doors open at 7:30, with the quiz starting at 8:00pm.

Bedrock are currently selling tickets priced at £6 (per person). With teams of a maximum of six to eight people are welcome, Questions rounds will include general knowledge, films & music, plus more! A prize raffle draw will take place directly after the quiz. – Tickets can be reserved and bought at www.bedrockradio.org.uk/events/quiznight2015

There is no minimum number that can make up a team but the maximum number of people is eight.
Quizzers will also be treated to a buffet supplied by Bedrock, and the Hornchurch Royal British Legion will have their bar open to buy drinks from.

About Bedrock

 

Bedrock is a registered charity, run entirely by unpaid volunteers. Who operate a hospital radio station that serves Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals Trust (BHRUT), We are independent from the NHS, and receive no financial support from the NHS, Bedrock is funded through donations, grants and fundraising activity such as our quiz night. Our studios are located within the Queen’s Hospital, Romford. but is available to the patients through the bedside TV system at Queen’s Hospital and online to the all other BHRUT sites.

 

Chairman of Bedrock, Mathew Watson, “Events like our quiz night are a vital source of funding to keep our charity running, keeping patients entertained during their stay in hospital. I hope that everyone who buys tickets will have a fantastic evening at our Quiz in September”

He also added; “We launched our online service last year, marking 50 years of Hospital Radio in Havering, and we welcome residents who use the hospital services to listen to Bedrock, we have music spanning many decades, plus fantastic interviews and information focused on health and wellbeing.”
