Mat Watson

Mat joined Bedrock in 2006, just before the move from Oldchurch Hospital to Queen’s Hospital, today he is our Chairman. He has a keen interest in radio broadcasting and wanted to understand more about production, programming and engineering aspects. He’s even has a qualification in radio production! Mat has worked professionally in broadcast working for commercial, community and online radio stations. But his passion remains with Hospital Radio, he calls it “a unique platform that retains individuality.” Today Mat works in public transport, helping customers with their journeys, but can still be heard on Bedrock on the Sunday Brunch from 10am.
