There will be a Safer Neighbourhood Conference taking place on Wednesday 2nd March starting at 7pm at the Town Hall, Romford.

There will be speakers from the Metropolitan police Borough Commander and the Mayors Office.

Trevor Meers, the chair of  Havering Safer Neighbourhood Board asks: “Do you want to make your local area safer and hold the police to account?”

The people from the local community are invited because local knowledge could be invaluable with new ideas to shape policing within Havering.

There will be an interactive theatre performance on crime and the effects on young people including sexting, bullying, gangs and internet safety.
