Severe disruption is expected across the London Underground (Tube) and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) between Sunday 7 and Friday 12 September 2025, due to planned strike action by the RMT Union.


If the strikes go ahead, services will be affected as follows:
Sunday 7 September – Start of Tube Strike

Disruption across the entire Tube network, with limited services running

All journeys must be completed by 18:00 (6pm)
Monday 8 – Thursday 11 September (Tube + DLR)
Tube:
-
Very limited or no service across the network – Any service that does run, will start AFTER 08:00am

Any services that do run will finish early – You are advised to complete journeys by 18:00 (6pm)
DLR:
-
Tuesday 9 & Thursday 11 September – no DLR service

Other days – full service, but may be affected at interchanges due to Tube Strikes
Friday 12 September

No Tube service before 08:00am

A good service expected across all lines by late morning
Other TfL Services
The Elizabeth line, London Overground and Local Buses are not on strike, but will be much busier than usual. Some services may skip stations or terminate early due to congestion.
⚠️ Other Services Impacted.
At shared stations, that are operated / staffed by London Underground.

Elizabeth line: Trains will not stop at stations between Whitechapel and Bond Street Before 07:30am and After 10:30pm,

c2c and Greater Anglia services will be busier than usual as passengers switch routes.

c2c have advised they will not stop at West Ham before 07:00am Monday & Wednesday and before 08:00am Tuesday and Thursday, queuing systems in place to prevent overcrowding on the platforms.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time and check before travelling.
