New Mawneys and Mowbrays Homes Welcome New Residents.

Havering Council is delighted to announce that the highly anticipated Mawneys and Mowbrays Supported housing Schemes have welcomed their first residents. The Mowbrays site, renamed Laws Park House, provides a vital opportunity for six adults with varying levels of learning disabilities to live well in their local community, keeping them close to existing support networks, avoiding out of borough placements whilst being supported to live as independently as possible.

Patients to benefit from funding to expand GP surgeries.

Work to modernise and expand several GP surgeries in North East London has been given the green light, with £3.3Million funding from the Department of Health and Social Care.  Projects will include refurbishing and reconfiguring existing spaces to create new consultation and treatment rooms, making better use of space so patients can be seen faster.

We are a charity run radio station with the objective of; Providing relief of sickness, poor health and old age, and advancement of health through the promotion of the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle, and having good personal mental and physical health for the public benefit, by providing a local broadcasting service for the health community.

Our Hospital Radio services cover all sites run by; BHR Hospitals, NELFT NHS Trusts and Barts Health Trust’s, Whipps Cross Hosptial.
