2024 / 2025 - Bedrock Radio is set to launch on DAB+ Digital Radio's across North East London and South West Essex. We are waiting the regulator Ofcom, to appoint a transmittsion operator and for their subsequent equipment to be installed
To listen online, press the Listen Live button at the top of the page to open the web-player.
The player opens in a new window, some browsers may need to press the Play () button to start listening to Bedrock RADIO.
The web-player will show you what song is currently playing, and also allows you to change between our stations Bedrock RADIO & Bedrock GOLD.
You can also find us on online directories such as; OnlineRadioBox, MyTuner Radio or TuneIn.
Download the Bedrock Radio mobile app for from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
In app, you can change stations from Bedrock RADIO & Bedrock GOLD in the main menu.
You can also get the latest news, weather, now playing info, set a sleep timer, up/down vote the on now-playing songs
The all also allows you to directly contact the studio for free using our ‘message the studio’ feature, including the ability to send us a short voice message too!
Connect your phone to a compatible car.
You will be able to launch our app from your car’s console to take Your Healthy Music Mix on the road with you.
We can be found on most WiFi Radios & Smart Speakers from Amazon, Apple and Google.
You may need to enable the skills / services of MyTuner Radio or TuneIn to begin listening.
Once enabled say one of the following commands:
“Alexa, Play Bedrock Radio”
“OK Google, Play Bedrock Radio”
“Siri, Play Radio Station, Bedrock Radio”
Sonos Systems:
Use the search bar (top right) and search for ‘Bedrock Radio‘ click on the Bedrock Radio station you want to listen to and we’ll start playing. using your preferred radio directory. You can then save us as a favourite station to get listening quickly next time.
Connect your devices to the free NHS Wi-Fi
(Settings > WiFi > Connect to NHS Wi-Fi > Accept T&Cs)
Once connected, NHS Wi-Fi will redirected you to the Spark Entertainment page page.
In many locations there will be a button for ‘Bedrock Radio’ Select this followed by the white play icon.
(In locations where the ‘Bedrock Radio’ option isn’t given, navigate to our website in your browser www.bedrock.radio & tap the ‘Listen Live’.)
If your location doesn’t list us on NHS WiFi entertainment page, we reccomened using the Bedrock Radio App.
You do not need to use the premium WiFi service to listen to Bedrock Radio.
Most NHS WiFi services are operated by Spark if you need help connecting your device see: Spark Support
Tip: For a better listening experience, we recommend using our free Bedrock Radio app when connected to NHS WiFi.
Queen’s Hospital
Ward Radios
In June 2022 we began distributing dedicated radio units that connect exclusively to the Hospital Radio;
Our radios exclusively tune into Bedrock RADIO & Bedrock GOLD.
Along with the wards, we have a radios located nurses desks in the Infusion Suite, and in the Discharge Lounge.
Other areas clinical areas are being identified to receive radios.
The Food Court.
Bedrock Radio is played 24/7 in the food court at Queen’s Hospital.
Goodmayes Hospital

At Goodmayes Hospital Bedrock Radio is played on speakers in communal areas such as dining rooms, lounges and staff bases.

Listening to Bedrock Radio via Mobile & WiFi.
A good quality 3G / 4G / 5G or WiFi signal is recommended for the best listening experience.
A poor mobile signal, or services less than two bars of 3G (GRPS / EDGE) may result in loading problems on the app, and you may not be able to connect to the live streams.
Using your mobile phone data to listen to the radio uses data allowances, if you exceed your data allowance, your mobile operator may charge you for each extra MB used, you can check your data allowances with your mobile operator.
You can use your own WiFi (or other unlimited WiFi services) for as long as you like, this does not affect your mobile phone data allowance. When listening on WiFi, we recommend a minimum connection speed of 2Mpbs some connections are subject to fair use policy, check with the provider.
