Bedrock are pleased to announce that the Havering Libraries reading challenge welcomed 80,000 young readers from the community.

This is a staggering number of participants taking the summer holiday reading pledge.  It is hopeful that everyone signed up will stay committed to the challenge to receive their certificate in Autumn.

Viv from one of the branches said “unfortunatley we didn’t break the Guinness book of records, which was 100,000”.  However everyone involved was delighted with the amount of new members coming along to pledge.
