Bedrock Radio, the Community Hospital Radio station broadcasting to patients of Queen’s (Romford), King George & Goodmayes (Ilford) Hospitals, plus the local community online has complied it’s annual chart of ‘Most Requested’ songs and artists made by patients throughout 2021.

Volunteers who regularly collect song requests have had another challenging year due to the conronavirus as a result our teams haven’t been able to visit all the wards & departments they usually would, the areas they have visited have been visited in a COVID safe way, with fantastic feedback from patients & staff alike.

Bedrock Radio have also been encouraging patients & listeners across the community submit requests & dedications via the Bedrock Radio App, where you can send the studio a message for free, or even record a short voice message to make your dedication even more personal.

Volunteer Chris Deighton who compiles a weekly the chart said:

“The 2021 chart is a real reflection of what patients tell us they want to hear! Unusually this year some artists have featured multiple times with various songs. We’re pleased to be providing this service across our local hospitals & the wider community to help keep people company this festive season”
