Beware of fake emails.

Bedrock Radio has been made aware a scammer is pretending to be us using a Hotmail email address.  

A copy of a phishing scam using this fake email account has been forwarded onto us, whereby the sender is asking for ‘Gift Cards’ or ‘Store Cards’ – Most common requested cards will be Apple, Google or Amazon cards.

 

We would like to reassure you that Bedrock Radio would NEVER ask you to buy us gift or store cards.

 

As registered charity we have safe and secure ways for you do donate to us, using our trusted partners at CAF Donate or SumUp.

 

Furthermore;  Bedrock Radio DO NOT use any of the free email services such as Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo for official correspondence.
Everything we send comes from our official domain – That’s this website address  – bedrockradio.org.uk 

 

If you ever do receive an email pretending to Bedrock Radio or Bedrock GOLD from email addresses ending in – @hotmail.com @Gmail.com @yahoo.com @msn.com
Then report suspicious activity to Action Fraud  by forwarding the phishing scam email onto  report@phishing.gov.uk

 

Bedrock have checked the security of our own systems and can confirm we are secure. – We believe this is an opportunist scammer trying their luck.
