As a registered charity, Bedrock Radio is a non-profit organisation, all of the team are volunteers who give their time to running the radio (including our Trustees board), meaning All of our fundraising, sponsorship and advertising income is invested into running our service, such as covering our broadcasting fees and general upkeep of our studio.

Bedrock Radio is expected to begin broadcasting on DAB+ Digital Radio in 2025, This small scale DAB is estimated, 1 million people across the North East London and South West Essex area.
The DAB+ signal is expected to cover Newham, Redbridge, Havering, Epping Forest, Thurrock, Brentwood, Basildon.
Our charitable objectives will remain the same, and we will continue to target the accessing healthcare services and healthcare staff across the region.
Where do you broadcast?
We provide a hospital radio service throughout four local hospitals: Queen’s, King Georges, Goodmayes and Whipps Cross, plus we’re available in clinics, units and community hospitals on the dedicated NHS WiFi.
Bedrock Radio is also online and mobile in the community, on the Bedrock Radio App, Smart Speakers & online.
