B&D Day of Action combats waste issues at Gascoigne Estate.

In another day of action, Barking and Dagenham Council and Reside joined forces to clear up Gascoigne Estate, Barking and encourage residents to dispose of their waste correctly. Officers worked together to litter pick, clear fly-tipped waste and spoke to residents about how to dispose of their waste correctly. Clearing over half tonne of waste on top of the general waste.

Over 3.5 tonnes of waste cleared in latest B&D Day of Action

More than three-and-a-half tonnes of waste has been cleared during Barking and Dagenham Council’s latest CleanerBD Day of Action.
Teams targeted Whalebone Lane North, Rose Lane and nearby roads in Chadwell Heath, removing rubbish, cutting back vegetation, fixing potholes and taking enforcement action on waste and parking offences.
Volunteers from local schools, community groups and businesses joined council staff on the day.
