Resident doctors have begun a five-day walkout today, as hospital leaders warn of significant pressure on local services.

Patients to benefit from funding to expand GP surgeries.

Work to modernise and expand several GP surgeries in North East London has been given the green light, with £3.3Million funding from the Department of Health and Social Care.  Projects will include refurbishing and reconfiguring existing spaces to create new consultation and treatment rooms, making better use of space so patients can be seen faster.
